EngineCalc is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, what we don't collect, and your rights.

Data We Do Not Collect

EngineCalc does not collect, store, or transmit any values you enter into our calculators. All engine and performance calculations run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No inputs — bore, stroke, horsepower, RPM, boost pressure, or any other values — are ever sent to our servers. We maintain no database of user inputs.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate site usage — which tools are used most, how long sessions last, and general geographic distribution. No personally identifiable information is passed to GA4. IP addresses are anonymized. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google AdSense & Cookies

We display ads via Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads relevant to your interests based on your browsing history. These cookies are set by Google, not by EngineCalc. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings.

Cookies Used

EngineCalc does not set any first-party cookies. Third-party cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 (analytics) and Google AdSense (advertising). No login, session, or preference cookies are set by EngineCalc.

Third-Party Services

We do not sell or share data with any other third parties.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

EngineCalc does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. No account creation is required. If you believe a child has submitted personal information via our contact form, email [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

Data Retention

EngineCalc retains no personal data. Google Analytics data is retained per Google's standard policy (14 months by default). You may request deletion via your Google account settings.

We may update this policy periodically. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
