Bug Report Guidelines
If you find a calculation error or technical issue, please include:
- The calculator name (e.g., "Engine Displacement Calculator", "Quarter-Mile Calculator")
- The input values you used (bore, stroke, cylinders, horsepower, etc.)
- The result EngineCalc showed
- The result you expected and your source or verification method
- Your browser and operating system
For performance estimate discrepancies, noting your vehicle's weight and drivetrain type helps us understand whether the difference falls within expected variation or indicates a formula issue.
Calculator Requests
We're always adding new engine and performance tools based on user feedback. When requesting a new calculator, describe the specific engineering calculation you need and the context in which you use it (e.g., "I'm building a turbo engine and need to calculate intercooler sizing"). This helps us build tools that are genuinely useful rather than just technically possible.
